Trekking in Nepal....

Monte and I on Gokyo Re in Nepal. Mount Everest is in the Background. Gokyo is about 18,ooo feet in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Nepal is an enchanted place, with wonderful people.

Monte climbed Ama Dablam during the 5 weeks we were there. Ama Dablam is 23,ooo feet. f

The Kids in Nepal

Kids are poor in Nepal, but love laugh and play. They are very hardy people.

We went back to Vietnam in 2005. They have all but forgotten the war, still so fresh in our minds. The war museum in Saigon gives the Vietnamese side of the war.
